Stephanie holds a part-time appointment as a Research Associate at the California Child Welfare Indicators Project at UC Berkeley. Her research interests include child welfare services, poverty, and the use of linked administrative data for program evaluation and policy research. Dr. Cuccaro-Alamin has extensive experience linking statewide administrative data for research purposes. Past linkages have included vital statistics records, public assistance data, wage data, and child welfare data. Most recently her work has focused on linking child welfare and wage data to examine long-term employment outcomes for youth exiting foster care.
